From books to computers from study carrels to collaborative spaces, from course reserves to cornhole, from print to digital, much has changed in the MacPháidín Library over the past several years. Recently, the library has added a Library of Things where students can borrow things like cornhole, Nintendo Switches and basketballs and a seed library in conjunction with The Farm at Stonehill. Students love the changes we have made and with the goal of creating social and collaborative spaces for students, we have transformed the first floor of the library by removing stacks, adding new collaborative spaces with technology, reimaged the library classroom, built the Digital Innovation Lab, added podcasting and virtual reality studios, merging our main service desks into one and creating Ace’s Place Café.
