FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

Why doesn't the presentation appear?

To avoid issues when attempting to view NIGP Forum Sessions on your computer, please try the following steps:

  1. Use Chrome as your browser (preferred); If not then try Firefox or Edge
  2. Refresh your page and empty out your cache (see IT if you need help with this)
  3. If audio is an issue, please try plugging in headphones. Make sure you verify that the audio settings on your computer are showing you’re connected to your headphones
  4. If you're on a company-issued laptop, please check with your IT department to clear any hardware restrictions; also have them review your audio/video settings
  5. If you're on a VPN (or using your company’s network),  please check with your IT department to allow access to the NIGP platform and Vimeo
  6. Switch your hardware to a personal laptop or mobile device
  7. Use your personal (or a public) network
  8. Provide us with a personal email address; we will create a new account for you on platform

NOTE: sessions will be available on demand not long after sessions end. 

For the best presentation viewing experience, we recommend the following:

Microsoft Windows

  • Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, or Google Chrome
  • Broadband Internet connection

Apple MacOS

  • Apple MacOS Mojave (version 10.14) and higher
  • Apple Safari, Mozilla Firefox, or Google Chrome

  • Apple iPadOS 13 and higher
