Welcome

Welcome to the 2021 JBJS | Miller Review Course II

JBJS | Miller Review is pleased to bring you the 2021 MRC II. This intensive, one-day course, carefully crafted by esteemed faculty, will prepare you for the ABOS Part II Oral Examination. During this course, you will:

  • Participate in three mock oral exams and present three of your own cases
  • Observe cases presented by your colleagues
  • Obtain detailed feedback from two mock examiners designed to improve each presentation while meeting the standards of the ABOS scorecard
  • Attend a seminar on how to effectively communicate with examiners, answer difficult questions, and handle case complications
  • Attend one of 7 lectures focused on sub-specialty updates and advances from recent literature and key papers

All MRC II attendees can claim up to 9.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™ for participating in the event. You will receive a post-course email from JBJS with instructions on how to claim your credits. Emails will begin going out the week after the event.

Attending as an Auditor?

All participants in the Auditor Experience have the option to sit in or “float” between subspecialty rooms. You can find the links to each room on the “Subspecialty Break Out Rooms” tab at the top of the menu.

Note: Auditors do not receive CME for their attendance.

Additional learning resources:

JBJS has also made additional learning resources available to aid in your preparation for the course and to supply general orthopaedic information, at no additional cost to you. The JBJS “What’s New by Subspecialty” collection is an annual review of the recent science and literature in each orthopaedic subspecialty.

MRC II Platinum:

JBJS | Miller Review is excited to bring back the highly regarded MRC II Platinum experience. For board eligible surgeons who want even more prep for the Part II Exam and are already attending MRC II, Platinum provides even more opportunity for success.

If you register for a Platinum session in addition to MRC II, you will participate in a three-hour, one-on-one session and receive even more expert, tailored feedback on your presentation. Each year, we receive feedback that this time with faculty is invaluable, and our attendees look forward to the experience.
