2020 Virtual Psychonomics

Welcome to the Psychonomic Society's 61st Annual Meeting on the Mediasite virtual meeting platform! This year’s meeting is fully virtual, happening online November 19-22. You are joining cognitive psychologists from more than 40 countries, including some of the field's most distinguished researchers, innovative early career investigators, and graduate students already making important scientific contributions. You’ll also be participating in the Society’s first ever, fully virtual conference. We hope you make the most of the opportunity, view all the sessions you’re interested in, and participate in as much of the live content (Q&As and virtual networking events) as possible.
All recorded content from the meeting will be available to registered attendees for six months after the conference.

 Make Yourself at Home
You’re encouraged to browse the site and make the most of the meeting platform. From Thursday’s keynote address and a record-breaking eight symposia happening on Friday and Saturday, to the first ever track of Invited Talks, to all the posters, talks, and special events you know and love, this meeting is designed to facilitate relationship building, information sharing, and new collaborations. Take advantage of the live Q&A sessions happening throughout the conference, and don’t forget about the opportunities to connect one-to-one during the Virtual Receptions hosted on Airmeet.

 Conference Schedule
You'll find the conference program listed under the “Full Program” tab at the top of the screen. If you haven’t already done so, take a minute to download the Psychonomic Society mobile app. It’s a great way to keep track of session schedules when you’re not in front of your computer. You can also use the app to build your own personalized meeting schedule. When viewing a session, just click on the calendar icon labeled “Add.” That session will be automatically added to your master schedule, which is accessible from the app’s home screen.
If you would like a copy of the 2020 Abstract Book, you can download it at https://www.psychonomic.org/page/2020program. (No Abstract Books were printed this year.)

 About the Psychonomic Society
The Psychonomic Society is the preeminent society for the experimental study of cognition. Members are scientists who study how the mind works and advance the basic science of behavior in areas that include memory, learning, problem solving, decision making, language, attention, and perception. Many members are concerned with the application of psychology to health, technology, and education, and often use converging methods such as neuroscience and computational science to achieve their research goals. Their work also connects with research in biology, chemistry, statistics, computer science, medicine, law, and business.
