Description: Successful process improvement projects address the people, the processes, the technology, and the interactions between them. The American College of Radiology's ImPower program, has proven to be an effective way to teach improvement while making meaningful changes within organizations. To participate in the ImPower program, project teams of front-line staff come together with their software vendors to develop a shared understanding of the issues, priorities, and changes needed to achieve project goals. Organizations using this framework of multi-disciplinary improvement can methodically and sustainably transition to a healthcare environment supported by effective technology integration in service of our patients and staff.
