Purpose

The Lippincott Nursing virtual event sponsored by Wolters Kluwer offers evidence-based educational sessions for nursing professionals and will give you the tools you need to improve the overall quality of patient care.

 

Lippincott Nursing will also meet your continuing education needs by offering credits for sessions that deliver comprehensive, results-oriented patient care strategies for various conditions and disease states. Our expert speakers will cover a broad range of topics for RNs who provide direct patient care, as well as nurse managers and administrators. CE credit will be awarded upon completion of the conference.

Learning Objectives

The purpose of the Lippincott Nursing virtual event is to offer evidence-based presentations that promote clinical excellence and improve the quality of care that healthcare practitioners provide. By attending this conference and participating in the educational sessions, you’ll be better able to:

 

  • Develop your assessment and clinical management skills.
  • Incorporate evidence-based practice into managing acute and chronic conditions.
  • Implement preventive measures to reduce the incidence of healthcare acquired conditions.
  • Identify strategies to provide safe and effective management of challenging health conditions including pneumothoraces, chest tubes, pain management, neuro assessment, rapid response teams, and more.
  • Recognize aspects of patient-centered care that can be implemented in your workplace to improve the quality of patient care.

 

Learning Outcome

At least 75% of the participants will identify one change in practice that they plan to implement as a measure of improvement in nursing professional development.

 

Provider Accreditation

Lippincott® Professional Development will award up to 16.5 contact hours for participating in archived sessions within 90 days of the virtual event.

 

Lippincott® Professional Development is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

 

Lippincott® Professional Development is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the District of Columbia, Georgia, and Florida boards of nursing (CE Broker #50-1223).

 

This activity is also provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing for 16.5 contact hours, Provider Number CEP 11749.

 

Clinicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
